Augusto Domiku might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Calvino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Domiku ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute Adolfo Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Loreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Anier Montrel fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EternalJoker's protests and gave Anier Montrel a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Christian Cebo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EternalJoker's Fulgencio Calvino didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, EternalJoker's Ernesto Santana got a free kick in the 54th minute. Valentin Larpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Calvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Ildefonso Loreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Adolfo Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot. EternalJoker's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Quirze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ildefonso Loreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Calvino having to interfere. With a little luck, EternalJoker's Fulgencio Calvino got control of the ball when Valentin Larpe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
