Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) Nonogasta's Honorato Elija started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barreal's Arnoldo Ioritz suffered a sore thigh after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Natalio Rios's late challenge caught a Barreal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natalio Rios helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Nonogasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Rios to maneuver through the defense. Julian Jurgi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Esteve Turi. A collision led to Barreal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Feliciano Cisco hit a great ball. When Nonogasta's Honorato Elija in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barreal's goalie prevented a goal. Rolando Guzman hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Julian Jurgi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anibal Iaki's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Honorato Elija recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Barreal's Leandro Paredes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julian Jurgi. Julian Jurgi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nonogasta's Honorato Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honorato Elija spun around in front of the goal 29 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barreal's goal. Neymar Junior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Guzman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Anibal Iaki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Jurgi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Iaki in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Jurgi saved Nonogasta from getting behind. Feliciano Cisco hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Celedonio Eguerdi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rolando Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Neymar Junior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Nonogasta's Honorato Elija sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neymar Junior narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anibal Iaki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Anibal Iaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Barreal's Neymar Junior got control of the ball when Laureano Ospin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Nonogasta defense, Anibal Iaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Jurgi. The Nonogasta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Jurgi should have stopped the shot. Honorato Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neymar Junior having to interfere. In the 70th minute of the match Laureano Ospin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neymar Junior showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Honorato Elija fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Neymar Junior, passed just outside the right post. After 73 minutes, Honorato Elija made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barreal's Neymar Junior tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Nonogasta's Rolando Guzman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neymar Junior narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honorato Elija was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Chuse in the 83rd minute of play forced Barreal's goalkeeper Neymar Junior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Eder in the 86th minute of play forced Barreal's goalkeeper Neymar Junior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Iaki in the 93rd minute of play forced Nonogasta's goalkeeper Julian Jurgi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nonogasta's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Barreal had won, even though Nonogasta had held more of the ball.
