When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Inocente made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Cayetano Cugat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Lorenz. Veremi Fultra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Cugat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Cayetano Cugat struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Generoso Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escobar. After a defensive mix-up in Veremi Fultra's zone, Cayetano Cugat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Lorenz came out of the goal and Cayetano Cugat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cayetano Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Veremi Fultra's goalkeeper Generoso Lorenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Generoso Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Goito in the 83rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Escobar's Jose Goito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Lorenz. That made the score 0-4 after 90 minutes of play.
