Donado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lascacas the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Donado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Su to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes, Ermegildo Uzuri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lascacas and the Donado players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Robustiano Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Matthew in the 14th minute of play forced Lascacas's goalkeeper Antonio Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Generoso Lesardo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Lascacas's Mauro Ubarna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Lesardo. That made the score 3-0 after 39 minutes of play. A collision led to Donado getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Feliciano Peruanton hit a great ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Ubarna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Lesardo having to make a save. Celedonio Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lascacas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
