Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Mino took the kick off in the first half of the match. Florencio Monico struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Gerardo Firmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minacar. In the 10th minute, Minacar's Hector Gorri seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hector Gorri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Minacar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hector Gorri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Paulino Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Minacar got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Basualdo. Marco Chayo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Minacar's Fidel Mendebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Mino in the 32nd minute of play. Lino Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Mendebal having to interfere. Lino Guzman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fidel Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Florian charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Florian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 41 minutes into the game, one of Minacar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Minacar:s Fidel Mendebal showed great skill when he stopped Marco Chayo:s penalty. Fidel Mendebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Palacios were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Florencio Monico to strike the kick off in the second half. The Minacar fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Minacar's Florencio Monico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Evaristo Luken fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minacar's protests and gave Evaristo Luken a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Minacar getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Evaristo Luken hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Minacar's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Mino came free, but Fidel Mendebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Firmo having to interfere. Saverio Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Augusto Mino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Mendebal having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Florencio Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Firmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Firmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Palacios's Lino Guzman got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florencio Monico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerardo Firmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
