Benedicto Aresti hit a great ball. The River Plate fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when River Plate's Geronimo Goiz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Matias Flores was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. The supporters of River Plate booed when Patagones Rex FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Calvino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Sabino. Patagones Rex FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
