Leonel Satordi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Leme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Leonel Satordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Leme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Fausto Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Satordi got free with Gonçalo Leme in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Liberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Gonçalo Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Leme having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Gonçalo Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Liberto. In the 43rd minute Genaro Orlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Satordi came free, but Gonçalo Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Leme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Liberto went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Satordi in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Leme saved SAN LORENZO from getting behind. When Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi's Leonel Satordi in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAN LORENZO's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN LORENZO's goalkeeper Gonçalo Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Liberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonçalo Leme having to interfere. Teodoro Danel charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Danel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Danel. In the 80thth minute of the game Leonel Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN LORENZO's Gonçalo Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of SAN LORENZO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi:s goal. Fausto Liberto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Fausto Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 97 played minutes SAN LORENZO got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Udalaitz. When the referee ended the match the Millonarios de Aldo Bonzi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
