Severino Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Marko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the game, Teofilo Quentin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Elias Fe. Elias Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Desiderio Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Severino Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Quentin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Severino Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestua IL. Teofilo Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Fe having to interfere. When Danilo Edwardo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independencia AFC's protests and gave Danilo Edwardo a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Edwardo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Candido Astudillo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Isidro Naldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Walme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Marko in the 27th minute of play forced Independencia AFC's goalkeeper Severino Walme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Independencia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Terciero to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Harestua IL's Elias Fe got control of the ball when Teofilo Quentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bonifacio Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, Harestua IL's Desiderio Quentin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severino Walme was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute Bonifacio Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Quentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eriberto Lalla came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Harestua IL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Lalla couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Terciero to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Independencia AFC's Bonifacio Terciero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Fe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Resto hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. During the 71st minute of the match Danilo Edwardo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Danilo Edwardo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Danilo Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Harestua IL's Candido Astudillo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Severino Walme but with some difficulty. Teofilo Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Elias Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Quentin struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Severino Walme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harestua IL. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Desiderio Quentin put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Severino Walme. 93 minutes into the match, Independencia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Marko came free, but Severino Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leandro Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Marko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Walme came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Marko slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 96th minute.
