Rene Ariando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Ildefonso Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Garin in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Godfredo Vimaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Garin made a kick off. If Rene Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Emeterio during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Garin couldn't finish the play. Sarandí's Faustino Garin got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domingos Frances's late challenge caught a Sarandí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Frances helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Vipos FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Frances. 81 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's Rene Ariando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Christobal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Faustino Garin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Ildefonso Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Lluques missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 86 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Edelmiro Quico right hand side. The supporters of Sarandí booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Enaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaspar Cloyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
