A hard shot by Edgard Frascuelo from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Siro Hunfredo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Siro Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amadeo Pietro in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Eguntsenti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of hrd2xpln booed when Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Oroitz's late challenge caught a hrd2xpln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Remigio Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nueva Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Hunfredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Remigio Berdaitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Siro Hunfredo, passed just outside the right post. Benicio Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Pietro in the 41st minute of the match. Remigio Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Julian Alfonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Ioritz to make the kick off. Siro Hunfredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Julian Alfonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Remigio Berdaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Remigio Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Marciano Basualdo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. hrd2xpln's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva Chicago the free kick. After a rather tough play, hrd2xpln's Abelardo Dei got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Julian Alfonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Hunfredo. hrd2xpln's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Alfonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Amadeo Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to hrd2xpln getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marciano Basualdo hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes hrd2xpln got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Basualdo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Berdaitz in the 87th minute of play forced hrd2xpln's goalkeeper Siro Hunfredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Julian Alfonso came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Nueva Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Alfonso couldn't finish the play. Benicio Eguntsenti was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
