If Donato Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leo Furman came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sarandí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Furman couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Club Los Muchachos's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Guipuzkoa came free, but Simon Luzaide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Los Muchachos's Simon Luzaide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Club Los Muchachos from getting a goal against them. Leo Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Luzaide having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Club Los Muchachos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Mitxaut to maneuver through the defense. Damian Rio's late challenge caught a Sarandí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Rio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Los Muchachos's Damian Rio got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 25 played minutes Donato Guipuzkoa rounded Club Los Muchachos's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, Armando Chuse notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sarandí's Gaston Enol. Gaston Enol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simon Luzaide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Furman in the 35th minute. When Dario Ruy fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarandí's protests and gave Dario Ruy a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Los Muchachos's zone, Leo Furman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Luzaide came out of the goal and Leo Furman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Isidoro Quin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Donato Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Luzaide having to interfere. Leo Furman might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Luzaide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Furman ran back to his position shaking his head. 59 minutes into the game, Basilio Dantel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sarandí's Severino Ramone quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Club Los Muchachos's Simon Luzaide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Furman in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Donato Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandí's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Guipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Luzaide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Simon Luzaide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Furman in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Sarandí booed when Club Los Muchachos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Armando Chuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Los Muchachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Chuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Luzaide having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Furman in the 86th minute of play forced Club Los Muchachos's goalkeeper Simon Luzaide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Guipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Club Los Muchachos's Igor Mitxaut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Sarandí's Donato Guipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sarandí had won after a very even match.
