In the 28th minute Cesar Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Maiorga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chul Hak San F.C's Leonardo Panpili shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Laureano Lucado but with some difficulty. Leonardo Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Laureano Lucado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victorino Maiorga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ranqueles. Ignacio Gonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Laureano Lucado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chul Hak San F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ranqueles's performance. The match ended with a win for Ranqueles.
