Isaias Quintana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaias Quintana came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Patronato's Lionel Messi. But to his dismay, Lionel Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Innatalidad getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Isaias Quintana acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Epifanio Florin. 18 minutes into the game, Eulalio Montrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Isaias Quintana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Celso Cerilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute of the match Epifanio Florin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Quintana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Innatalidad's Isaias Quintana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Innatalidad from getting a goal against them. When Victor Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Innatalidad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Bastia couldn't finish the play. Isidro Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Cedro in the 40th minute of play forced Club Atletico Patronato's goalkeeper Thibault Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Epifanio Florin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaias Quintana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Patronato's Faustino Luzaide got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Club Atletico Patronato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Chuan to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Julian Cedro made the kick off in the second half. Thibault Courtois made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Isidro Gonsalvo sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Innatalidad's Julian Cedro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lionel Messi in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaias Quintana saved Innatalidad from getting behind. Isidro Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibault Courtois having to interfere. In the 66th minute Jairo Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Urtungo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Quintana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thibault Courtois was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Julian Cedro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Cedro really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 83rd minute, Silvio Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel Messi in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Quintana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th match minute, Club Atletico Patronato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Montrel to maneuver through the defense. The Club Atletico Patronato fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Innatalidad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
