Guaberto Orlondon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Vicente Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azulgranaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Osasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Pirro having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Evelio Frasquito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Gato Lopez FC's Romulo Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Frasquito in the 47th minute of play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Osasun in the 65th minute of play forced El Gato Lopez FC's goalkeeper Romulo Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, El Gato Lopez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Osasun came free, but Romulo Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Vicente Osasun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evelio Frasquito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play.
