Gilberto Erramun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julian Abeita. La Vagancia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tobias Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carolina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Patxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Abeita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, La Vagancia's Generoso Sedeni got a free kick in the 18th minute. Carolina FC's Gaston Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Gonsalve in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Candido Policarpio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Vagancia's Julian Abeita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacobo Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Gau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacobo Gonsalve's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Julian Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Candido Policarpio sped through La Vagancia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Abeita. After 38 played minutes Carolina FC got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Gartzea. Julian Abeita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Policarpio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Gaston Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gonsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio got a free kick in the 51st minute. The long shot by Gilberto Erramun in the 53rd minute really tested Julian Abeita's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Julian Abeita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Mark in the 59th minute. If Edgardo Mark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Vagancia's Generoso Sedeni got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Tobias Patxi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julian Abeita. Tobias Patxi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. La Vagancia's Julian Abeita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save La Vagancia from getting a goal against them. Gaston Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Carolina FC's goalkeeper Gaston Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Rafe in the 75th minute of play forced Carolina FC's goalkeeper Gaston Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Gau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Rafe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaston Gau having to make a save. Tobias Patxi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Abeita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Julian Abeita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Policarpio in the 92nd minute of the match. Although La Vagancia had been in control for most of the match, Carolina FC still came away with the win.
