In the 31st minute Delmiro Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adélio Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Oliviero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Sugar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Adélio Neves came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Naranja Mecanica F.C.'s Delmiro Basualdo. But to his dismay, Delmiro Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Oliviero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Rafael's Maximiliano Oliviero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Sugar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Maximiliano Oliviero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Sugar was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
