Lucio Otsando hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Nereo Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Nevada having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, CATISTIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Txanton to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, CATISTIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Txanton to maneuver through the defense. Abel Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sticco FC booed when CATISTIM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Txanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Nevada was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Paulo Udalaitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Udalaitz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nereo Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Abel Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nereo Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nereo Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Tauro got free with Abel Nevada in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CATISTIM FC's Abel Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save CATISTIM FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, CATISTIM FC's Higinio Txartiko got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Paulo Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sticco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Udalaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Nevada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel Nevada came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Sticco FC's Nereo Tauro. But to his dismay, Nereo Tauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Paulo Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Abaunza in the 65th minute of play forced Sticco FC's goalkeeper Dario Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Udalaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Nevada having to interfere. Paulo Udalaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute Nereo Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Udalaitz in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Nevada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes CATISTIM FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Txanton. Abel Nevada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Udalaitz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Abel Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Tauro in the 90th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Paulo Udalaitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Abel Nevada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Paulo Udalaitz came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Sticco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sticco FC had played much better football throughout.
