After 4 played minutes Salcedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Soter. In the 6th match minute, Salcedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Lop to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Salcedo FC's Nestor Derwin got control of the ball when Erlin Håland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Salcedo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Erlin Håland scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Derwin, making the score, 1-0. If Erlin Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erubiel Lop fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salcedo FC's protests and gave Erubiel Lop a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Salcedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Lop. When Erlin Håland came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Vikingos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erlin Håland couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Salcedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Chan. Thomás Heidemann struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nestor Derwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. Erlin Håland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Derwin having to interfere. Salcedo FC's Nestor Derwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Salcedo FC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Soter came free, but Guido Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Ishmael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestor Derwin made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Erlin Håland sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Nestor Derwin managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Vikingos FC's Erlin Håland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Clodoveo Egoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Derwin having to interfere. Erlin Håland who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Nestor Derwin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vikingos FC's Rodrigo Isadore got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43rd play minutes Erlin Håland shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Nestor Derwin and just under the crossbar into goal. Guido Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Neron in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 minutes, Astor Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salcedo FC and the Vikingos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Astor Estavan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nestor Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Heidemann in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Håland in the 59th minute of play forced Salcedo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Erlin Håland sped through Salcedo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nestor Derwin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erlin Håland during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Erlin Håland. The Vikingos FC fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Vikingos FC's Erlin Håland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vikingos FC's Nehemiah Harif was substituted for Thomás Heidemann. The Vikingos FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Vikingos FC's Erlin Håland looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Vikingos FC's Erlin Håland in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salcedo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 85 minutes, Erlin Håland made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Salcedo FC's Nestor Derwin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erlin Håland in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Derwin saved Salcedo FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlin Håland in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Derwin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Ishmael made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Segundo Neron sent off a good shot on target. Vikingos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
