Spectators: 7213 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marciano Paul made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Mauro Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lisandro Xabel. Rodeo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, Marciano Paul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pueblo Nuevo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodeo the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Ikatz during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Baldomiro Ikatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marciano Paul was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. After 14 played minutes Pueblo Nuevo got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Paul. In the 18th minute, Mauro Taurino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pueblo Nuevo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Apolo Guter kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Pueblo Nuevo's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Ugaitz came free, but Marcos Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Pueblo Nuevo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Cordearo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Ubaldo Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rodeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Ugaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pueblo Nuevo's zone, Ubaldo Ugaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Francis came out of the goal and Ubaldo Ugaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pueblo Nuevo's Marcos Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Ikatz in the 38th minute of play. Marcos Francis came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Rodeo's Baldomiro Ikatz. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Ikatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Ikatz was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Baldomiro Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Ikatz in the 56th minute of play. Marcos Francis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Marcos Francis made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ubaldo Ugaitz sent off a good shot on target. Baldomiro Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcos Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, one of Pueblo Nuevo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pueblo Nuevo. The referee gave Rodeo a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ubaldo Ugaitz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pueblo Nuevo's Marcos Francis. 2-3. Conrado Cordearo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Lisandro Xabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pueblo Nuevo. In the 74thth minute of the game Baldomiro Ikatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pueblo Nuevo's Marcos Francis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, one of Pueblo Nuevo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pueblo Nuevo. The goalkeeper, Marcos Francis, was totally fooled by Rodeo's Ubaldo Ugaitz, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 94 minutes into the match, Pueblo Nuevo's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Ikatz came free, but Marcos Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Ikatz in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Francis saved Pueblo Nuevo from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pueblo Nuevo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! When the match was over Rodeo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pueblo Nuevo throughout the match.
