Cecilio Txaran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's Leopoldo Napier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Javiar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Marcianos FC's Emilio Azevedo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mario Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leopoldo Napier in the 36th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Nicolas Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diablos Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Ado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mario Javiar made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Leopoldo Napier sent off a good shot on target. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marcianos FC's goalkeeper Mario Javiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Alejandro Librado made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Romero. Marcianos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marcianos FC's Mario Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Napier in the 79th minute of play. Marcianos FC's Humberto Handi got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Humberto Handi off the ground.
