Diego Lixandro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Felix Arlo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Arlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Coni getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alejandro Birila hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Isaac Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA RIVER PLATE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Quintyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Arlo was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Isaac Quintyn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isaac Quintyn really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Felix Arlo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Benedicto Berdaitz sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st play minute Diego Lixandro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Felix Arlo. 3-0. Coni's players were relieved. 40 minutes into the match, CA RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Osasun came free, but Paulino Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Arlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Abad in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, CA RIVER PLATE's Enzo Lauren got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Ubelteso to make the kick off. If Diego Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Quintyn in the 57th minute of play forced Coni's goalkeeper Felix Arlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Coni's Felix Arlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Lixandro in the 58th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Benedicto Berdaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coni's Felix Arlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Arlo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CA RIVER PLATE's attentive Albano Abad managed to snatch the ball when Hermengildo Aznaro made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Albano Abad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Arlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Berdaitz's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. A collision led to Coni getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alejandro Birila hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lixandro in the 89th minute of play forced Coni's goalkeeper Felix Arlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Diego Lixandro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coni's Felix Arlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Arlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Emanuel Osasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
