Mariano Adrio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Piratas CAB's goalkeeper Angelo Liberto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Frechoso. If Alejandro Balesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Gelmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Piratas CAB's Angelo Liberto got control of the ball when Victorio Frechoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Everardo Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Liberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gelmiro in the 25th minute of play. Cipriano Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Matei having to interfere. Tafí AFC's Cristian Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Cebo in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tafí AFC's zone, Cipriano Casado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Matei came out of the goal and Cipriano Casado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fulgencio Cuartio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Piratas CAB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Cuartio couldn't finish the play. Piratas CAB's Ezequiel Cebo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piratas CAB's Fulgencio Cuartio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tafí AFC's Cristian Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Cebo in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ubaldo Gelmiro was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Piratas CAB defense, Ubaldo Gelmiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Liberto. The Piratas CAB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Liberto should have stopped the shot. If Victorio Frechoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Ezequiel Cebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Tafí AFC booed when Piratas CAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Eufemio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fulgencio Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tafí AFC's zone, Ezequiel Cebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Matei came out of the goal and Ezequiel Cebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Liberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Frechoso went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 90 played minutes Tafí AFC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Aznar. Ezequiel Cebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Matei firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tafí AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Piratas CAB having more of the ball for most of the match.
