But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Lauren couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Angulas defense, Candido Ordono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Bitxintxo. The Angulas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Bitxintxo should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Emilio Galeno notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pasteur FC's Miguel Mundo. Miguel Mundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonardo Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 25 minutes, Ricardo Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angulas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Gombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Richie's late challenge caught a Angulas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Richie helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pasteur FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Matias Richie hit a great ball. Pasteur FC's Miguel Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Gombal in the 28th minute of play. Miguel Mundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Leonardo Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Mundo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Orti was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Angulas's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Ordono came free, but Edelmiro Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Ordono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Bitxintxo having to interfere. If Clemente Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Ordono in the 62nd minute of play. If Ricardo Gombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Edelmiro Bitxintxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Orti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Orti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edelmiro Bitxintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Pasteur FC's Honorato Orti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Bitxintxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edelmiro Bitxintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Orti, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Angulas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
