Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benjamin Tauro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jairo Fanuco came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Quemapasto FC's Flavio Erramun. But to his dismay, Flavio Erramun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 6th minute Albino Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edinho Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Walme in the 8th minute of play. Christian Vieri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Fanuco having to make a save. Jairo Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derviš Hadžić in the 14th minute of the match. Eloy Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Sione's zone, Flavio Erramun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Fanuco came out of the goal and Flavio Erramun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Benjamin Tauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Christian Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quemapasto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Vieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quemapasto FC's Derviš Hadžić got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Vieri in the 28th minute of play forced C. A. Sione's goalkeeper Jairo Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Vieri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jairo Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Tauro in the 32nd minute of play. Jairo Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Christian Vieri sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Sione's zone, Christian Vieri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Fanuco came out of the goal and Christian Vieri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnulfo Vela hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Christian Vieri might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Fanuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Vieri ran back to his position shaking his head. If Flavio Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Vieri to strike the kick off in the second half. Jairo Fanuco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Vieri's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. A collision led to C. A. Sione getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eloy Txilar hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Vieri in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Fanuco saved C. A. Sione from getting behind. Benjamin Tauro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Adan Walme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edinho Dantas. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 81st match minute, C. A. Sione was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Selmo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Christian Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quemapasto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Vieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Fanuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Christian Vieri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Vieri in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Fanuco saved C. A. Sione from getting behind.
