Geronimo Rubio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Miguel Rodas made a huge save. A collision led to Talita getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Enrique Gutierrez hit a great ball. Geronimo Rubio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Garín FC's Alejandro Beltran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Rodas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Braulio Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Herauso having to interfere. Geronimo Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Rodas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Talita's Eliseo Calvet got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Tadeo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Talita's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Beltran came free, but Miguel Rodas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Miguel Rodas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
