When Fidel Goizeder came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Los Abejorros Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Goizeder couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vicente Matro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Ordono. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Rodolfo Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Matro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Goizeder got free with Rodolfo Ordono in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Ferman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Olaf Rzeszutko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Fidel Goizeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Ordono. Sarasa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Goizeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Matro in the 30th minute of play forced Sarasa FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Goizeder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Ordono made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Matro in the 37th minute of play forced Sarasa FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Goizeder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Ordono came out and tried to block the shot, but Fidel Goizeder slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 38th minute. In the 47th match minute, Sarasa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Matro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sarasa FC's Julian Viviano got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Abejorros Club's zone, Ernesto Dimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Rzeszutko came out of the goal and Ernesto Dimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sarasa FC's Rodolfo Ordono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Goizeder in the 90th minute of play.
