In the 32nd minute, one of Ben-Hur de Rafaela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ben-Hur de Rafaela. The referee gave Triver FC a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Timoteo Dorio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ben-Hur de Rafaela's Hermengildo Elequemedo. 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Ben-Hur de Rafaela's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Bixintxo came free, but Hermengildo Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Teodoro Idacio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triver FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Idacio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cipriano Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Cipriano Bixintxo made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Bixintxo's late challenge caught a Ben-Hur de Rafaela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cipriano Bixintxo helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Hermengildo Elequemedo managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Triver FC's Cipriano Bixintxo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Timoteo Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hermengildo Elequemedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cipriano Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Timoteo Dorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Elequemedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Cipriano Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ben-Hur de Rafaela's zone, Sergio Hechter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Elequemedo came out of the goal and Sergio Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Urdaspal during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Triver FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Urdaspal. Triver FC's Apolo Gombal was substituted for Lisandro Urdaspal. In the 78th match minute, Triver FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Elequemedo stood somewhat misplaced when Cipriano Bixintxo came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 81 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ben-Hur de Rafaela's zone, Cipriano Bixintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Elequemedo came out of the goal and Cipriano Bixintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Bixintxo in the 88th minute of play. Timoteo Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Elequemedo having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Triver FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ben-Hur de Rafaela.
