In the 33rd minute Ezequiel Beremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. River.P's Jimeno Min played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Artizar in the 38th minute of play. Vinicio Fraco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Jimeno Min made a huge save. Venancio Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jimeno Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When La Academia 's Venancio Artizar in 44 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jimeno Min guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Hats stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Academia 's Venancio Artizar got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Venancio Artizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Daniel Hats had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzalo Abaunza. La Academia 's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Hats was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gonzalo Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hats in the 85th minute of play. Venancio Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Min having to interfere. River.P's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
