When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carolo Txatxu made a kick off. C.A. Toro's Natalio Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Figueroa in the 52nd minute of play. Ismael Garoa did an outstanding performance 60 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-0 to the right of an irritated Natalio Iago in the goal. In the 63rd minute Zacarias Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 played minutes C.A. Toro got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Ilixo. After having played for 75 minutes, Carolo Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Toro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carolo Txatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Espíritus Chocarreros getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Cristobal Vincent hit a great ball. If Carolo Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Simon Figueroa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of C.A. Toro's Natalio Iago. Natalio Iago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carolo Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Figueroa in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Raul Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Toro and the Espíritus Chocarreros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raul Socorro hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Natalio Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacarias Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Espíritus Chocarreros fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.A. Toro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
