The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, C.A Palmares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Jaen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petr Dolák. C.A Palmares's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Máquina de Matar's Saul Dolfo got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 10 minutes, Vicente Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Máquina de Matar and the C.A Palmares players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Máquina de Matar fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Bonifacio Che went to the wrong direction when Nestor Pero was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 14 minutes into the match, C.A Palmares's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Reyes came free, but Petr Dolák reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Pero's late challenge caught a La Máquina de Matar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Pero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, C.A Palmares's Nestor Pero got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of C.A Palmares booed when La Máquina de Matar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Arnulfo Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Palmares's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Maxenchs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, C.A Palmares's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Dolfo came free, but Petr Dolák reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Dolfo to strike the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bonifacio Che showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Damaso Maxenchs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bonifacio Che tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, C.A Palmares's Damaso Maxenchs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Che made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 60th minute Saul Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Dolák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaston Indalecio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A Palmares's Petr Dolák got control of the ball when Faustino Silban tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Máquina de Matar's Antonio Jaen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Petr Dolák but with some difficulty. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Petr Dolák successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Bento in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bonifacio Che saved La Máquina de Matar from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Edgard Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Dolák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Máquina de Matar's Marcial Patxi got a free kick in the 76th minute. Abel Seme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Petr Dolák made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Petr Dolák successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 81st minute, one of La Máquina de Matar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Máquina de Matar. 87 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Bento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bonifacio Che. La Máquina de Matar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. There was no doubt that C.A Palmares were the better team. C.A Palmares's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
