Aristides Paio hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Buenos Aires Sur's zone, Rolando Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Lore came out of the goal and Rolando Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the match, Joel Atarrabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Cordero. Huracan Malbec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Atarrabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 20thth minute of the game Leandro Daunte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huracan Malbec's Hilario Cordero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Cordero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Huracan Malbec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Romero to maneuver through the defense. Joel Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Alberto Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huracan Malbec's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Lore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 40 minutes, Rolando Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huracan Malbec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Montae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th play minute Joel Atarrabi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hilario Cordero. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Montae was the one to do the kick off. Joel Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Cordero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Leandro Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Rolando Montae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Guillermo Naldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huracan Malbec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenos Aires Sur the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Huracan Malbec fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! If Leandro Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hilario Cordero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Atarrabi scored 6-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Cordero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Leandro Daunte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Daunte took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Cordero. Hilario Cordero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Buenos Aires Sur's Joel Atarrabi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Daunte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hilario Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Aristides Paio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Huracan Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Ekhi. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buenos Aires Sur fully deserved thier win.
