When Roman Loiola fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Cruzada FC's protests and gave Roman Loiola a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Bonifaco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Vigil saved Rosario Central from getting behind. In the 19thth minute of the game Niceto Bonifaco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Central's Saul Vigil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Rosario Central:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Cruzada FC:s goal. Niceto Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Vigil was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Niceto Bonifaco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niceto Bonifaco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Bonifaco in the 33rd minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Saul Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, German Elazar took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Gaudencio Ramirez to make any attempt to save it. 69 minutes into the match, La Cruzada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Nalo came free, but Gaudencio Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Cruzada FC's Gaudencio Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Nalo in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldo Asur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaudencio Ramirez. That made the score 3-3 in the 76 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rodrigo Matai managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cruzada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Matai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Vigil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Vigil came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Cruzada FC's Niceto Bonifaco. But to his dismay, Niceto Bonifaco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Gaudencio Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hipolito Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Rosendo Ramos got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvio Cesario got free with Gaudencio Ramirez in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There was no doubt that La Cruzada FC were the better team. La Cruzada FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
