Mariano Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Muno's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Huevonaso S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Sabino came free, but Rene Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Sabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Atarrabi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Paulino Pudes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Sabino struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Rene Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavilandia. Gavilandia's Teodosio Sabino got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Jerico took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Semeno. Mariano Semeno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Teodosio Sabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Evelio Claris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huevonaso S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavilandia the free kick. Evelio Claris kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Gavilandia's Paulo Goi tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gavilandia's Mariano Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Jerico in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Gualterio Muno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 56thth minute of the game Igor Jerico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavilandia's Mariano Semeno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualterio Muno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mariano Semeno made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Paulino Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavilandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Pudes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huevonaso S.C.'s Rene Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Sabino in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Huevonaso S.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Evelio Claris hit a great ball. Rene Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 82 minutes, Teodosio Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavilandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes Huevonaso S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Vistruario. 87 minutes into the game, Paulino Pudes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rene Frichoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodosio Sabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Huevonaso S.C.'s zone, Teodosio Sabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Frichoso came out of the goal and Teodosio Sabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Sabino in the 95th minute of play. The Huevonaso S.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
