After a rather tough play, Los Pollos Hermanos's Angelino Espiridion got a free kick in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Asur in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Gilabert saved Los Pollos Hermanos from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Manuel Asur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Gilabert was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Los Pollos Hermanos's Simon Bittor got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Sergio Gilabert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Polentzi in the 25th minute. Manuel Asur had several of the Los Pollos Hermanos's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sergio Gilabert as he didn't even see the shot coming. Eriberto Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sergio Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Medina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Los Pollos Hermanos's Emilio Lleir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Altautina FC's Eriberto Aguirre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Gilabert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roman Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Altautina FC's Fernando Barea got a free kick in the 61st minute. Sergio Gilabert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Asur in the 76th minute of play. Eriberto Aguirre might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Gilabert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Aguirre ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Asur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gilabert having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Los Pollos Hermanos's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Tancredo came free, but Sergio Gilabert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Altautina FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Altautina FC's Manuel Asur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 90 minutes into the game, Joel Tancredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
