Salvador Millano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Quetan FC's Enzo Cuartio got control of the ball when Roman Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Tu Vieja defense, Salvador Millano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arturo Senon. The Tu Vieja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arturo Senon should have stopped the shot. Fabian Raymundo lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quetan FC! Iker Anaya shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Millano to make the kick off. Arturo Senon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Millano in the 55th minute. Roman Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Cuartio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Quetan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Franco came free, but Enzo Cuartio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quetan FC's zone, Cornelio Mincho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enzo Cuartio came out of the goal and Cornelio Mincho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
