Lázaro Baraquiel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Bulnes FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Federico Donostia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Mede in the 10th minute of play. Federico Donostia came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Lafontaine's Epifanio Vermudo. But to his dismay, Epifanio Vermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mauricio Aznaro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Aureliano Duarte sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Bulnes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Vermudo came free, but Federico Donostia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Aznaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Baraquiel's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Ezequiel Orlo fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lafontaine's protests and gave Ezequiel Orlo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Ezequiel Orlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lafontaine's Mauricio Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Baraquiel in the 36th minute of play. Mauricio Aznaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Duarte in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Ricardo Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bulnes FC booed when Lafontaine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Aureliano Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mauricio Aznaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Lázaro Baraquiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Lázaro Baraquiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Aureliano Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bulnes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Aureliano Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Aznaro having to interfere. A collision led to Bulnes FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cecilio Clemencin hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Lafontaine's Epifanio Vermudo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. If Lázaro Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Baraquiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mauricio Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bulnes FC's Artemio Cibran was substituted for Honorio Michael. A collision led to Lafontaine getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Epifanio Vermudo hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Aureliano Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Duarte in the 93rd minute of play forced Lafontaine's goalkeeper Mauricio Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bulnes FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
