Zapala AFC's Esteban Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Jurgi in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Leonel Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Froylan in the 7th minute of the match. Esteban Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Leonel Froylan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortineros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Esteban Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Julian Bibiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Fortineros's Leonel Froylan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteban Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Jurgi came free, but Esteban Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Froylan in the 45th minute of play. Iker Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Gorri in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Froylan was the one to do the kick off. Fortineros's Iker Tajo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Dino in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Rogelio Llope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Froylan came free, but Esteban Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fortineros getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Danilo Odilon hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Domingo Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iker Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Dino in the 66th minute of play. Iker Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Dino, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Benicio Gorri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Tajo having to make a save. 72 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's Benicio Gorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 74 played minutes Fortineros got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Asteri. Anselmo Berasko struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Iker Tajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapala AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Fortineros's zone, Julian Bibiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Tajo came out of the goal and Julian Bibiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Leonel Froylan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Polo, 0-3. Leonel Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Polo having to interfere. Fortineros's Severo Jurgi came free and shot a quick shot against goal 92 minutes in the game, fortunately Esteban Polo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Severo Jurgi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
