NewPi Argentino's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Donio came free, but Patricio Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's zone, Omar Donio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Peyo came out of the goal and Omar Donio tried to chip the ball over his head. Bartolo Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Donio struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Patricio Peyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ISRAEL. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Patricio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Donio in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Galtero during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ISRAEL booed when C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Donio was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Artal. Patricio Peyo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Patricio Peyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Donio's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Patricio Peyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Donio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Omar Donio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Peyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Omar Donio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Peyo having to interfere. The corner led ISRAEL's Vicente Pelayo to fire away a dangerous shot which Patricio Peyo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino's Patricio Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Iturri in the 84th minute of play. Omar Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Omar Donio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Peyo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Tobias Iturri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Patricio Peyo made a huge save. If Omar Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Carolo Paul managed to get in a good position for a shot. ISRAEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Paul was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Peyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ISRAEL played a much better game than C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino and deserved their victory. The C.S. y D. NewPi Argentino players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
