Spectators: 7293 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marciano Rainerio started the match with the kick off. Cornelio Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Rainerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Teyo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Prospero Monte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julian Oso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Iraido having to interfere. The Buchanan fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Buchanan's Bernardo Gotzon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 22 minutes into the match, Re-tirados's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Benat came free, but Prospero Monte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Elvio Ekaitz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Re-tirados's protests and gave Elvio Ekaitz a yellow card for diving instead. Elvio Ekaitz hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, Buchanan's Christian Benat made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Monte was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bernardino Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardino Teyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Prospero Monte made a huge save. Elvio Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Bernardino Teyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Monte having to interfere. Prospero Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Benat in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Bernardino Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchanan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Teyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Re-tirados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Bonifaco to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Benat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Teyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Monte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Prospero Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Benat, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Re-tirados's Elvio Ekaitz got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 61st match minute, Buchanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Teyo to maneuver through the defense. If Julian Oso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bernardino Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernardino Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Re-tirados's zone, Christian Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Monte came out of the goal and Christian Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Teyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Re-tirados's Elvio Ekaitz got a free kick in the 94th minute. The corner led Buchanan's Edgardo Guillelmo to fire away a dangerous shot which Prospero Monte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. There was no doubt that Buchanan were the better team. Buchanan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
