An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Ibar in the 13th minute of play forced Laprida AFC's goalkeeper Danilo Lizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Laprida AFC's zone, Dionisio Selatse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Lizar came out of the goal and Dionisio Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Laprida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ibar came free, but Danilo Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Selatse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Lizar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Danilo Lizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Selatse went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 29 minutes, Dionisio Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Selatse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Feliberto Ihintza fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laprida AFC's protests and gave Feliberto Ihintza a yellow card for diving instead. Dionisio Selatse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Laprida AFC's Hernan Hondo got a free kick in the 36th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Ibar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pastillos AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Diegotxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Cristian Ibar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Danilo Lizar, passed just outside the right post. After 85 minutes, Augusto Oxarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laprida AFC and the Pastillos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Laprida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ibar came free, but Danilo Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastillos AFC played a much better game than Laprida AFC and deserved their victory. The Laprida AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
