Juan Caitano hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Rafael Paulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Victor Eyague was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeledon Ramond scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Obano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidoro Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Eyague having to interfere. Rafael Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Victor Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Panfilo in the 26th minute of play forced Pueblito's goalkeeper Victor Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Demario hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Emanuel Sanchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Obano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Antiborrachos's Isidoro Panfilo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Eyague. That made the score 2-1 after 34 minutes of play. 46 minutes into the game, Pueblito's Fabricio Mazuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fermin Obano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Mazuste made a kick off. Fermin Obano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Ramond in the 54th minute. When Uriel Uxio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antiborrachos's protests and gave Uriel Uxio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pueblito booed when Antiborrachos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Ramond in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Obano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Fabricio Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Obano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Ramond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Fermin Obano made a huge save. Fermin Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Mazuste in the 71st minute of the match. Uriel Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Eyague having to interfere. Uriel Uxio hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes Antiborrachos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Modesto Cucao who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pueblito's Modesto Cucao to fire away a dangerous shot which Fermin Obano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zeledon Ramond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pueblito's Victor Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Paulin in the 90th minute of play. Victor Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Panfilo in the 93rd minute of play. Fabricio Mazuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fermin Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
