Mauricio Eudoxio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Verde's Rodrigo Valery tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Cerilo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Frantzes saved Atletico Macia from getting behind. If Froilan Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Chayo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Chayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Eugenio Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Frantzes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Froilan Cerilo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Froilan Cerilo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Verde's protests and gave Froilan Cerilo a yellow card for diving instead. Froilan Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Maximo Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Nevada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Frantzes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Bartolo Egoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Verde got a freekick which was hit by Candido Senio. Bartolo Egoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Fix having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verde's Candido Senio got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Boniel was the one to do the kick off. When Bartolo Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Atletico Macia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartolo Egoitz couldn't finish the play. Maximo Nevada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Roberto Frantzes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Atletico Macia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Turi to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Rodrigo Valery in the 61st minute of play was well struck, but Roberto Frantzes made a really good save at the right post. A collision led to Atletico Macia getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Martin Turi hit a great ball. If Froilan Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Bartolo Egoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Fix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Elpidio Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes, Atletico Macia's Herminio Amaya shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Fix came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Macia reached it. Bartolo Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Maximo Fix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Roberto Frantzes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Nevada in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Froilan Cerilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Cerilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
