The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Aragones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Derwin went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the game, Santo Saturnin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cirilo Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Victorio Derwin came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Huasapampa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Derwin couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Derwin got free with Cirilo Aragones in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AC Sandino's Robustiano Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute of the match Primitivo Maria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Umbruso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The AC Sandino supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Huasapampa's performance. The match ended with a win for Huasapampa.
