Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Astor Refugio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes, Anier Niva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorro 86 and the AC Sandino players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zorro 86 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Anier Niva hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Maximino Barrionuevo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Cirilo Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Erasmo Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Niva hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Zorro 86's Astor Refugio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Santo Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Sanduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Robustiano Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Amancio Misael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Sidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Zorro 86's Miguel Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Barrionuevo in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Maximino Barrionuevo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Miguel Sidro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half AC Sandino were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Canor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Astor Refugio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cirilo Aragones was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Matias Gombal in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AC Sandino's Jacinto Lapurdi. Maximino Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of AC Sandino booed when Zorro 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Aragones having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, one of AC Sandino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Sandino. Christian Guillem's late challenge caught a AC Sandino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Guillem helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of AC Sandino booed when Zorro 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Refugio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evelio Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AC Sandino's Santo Saturnin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 101st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Miguel Sidro but with some difficulty. The Zorro 86 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC Sandino's performance. The match ended with a win for AC Sandino.
