With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Benet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primitivo Todor made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jonathan Cidro however managed to control. Rafael Garci charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Garci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Tinglado FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Garci to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Rodolfo Xabat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Tinglado FC's goalkeeper Isaac Benet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomáš Svitko. Feliberto Cloyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Benet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliberto Cloyo ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Tinglado FC defense, Feliberto Cloyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Benet. The Tinglado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Benet should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tinglado FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cristobal Paulin hit a great ball. Maximo Gabrio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliberto Cloyo got free with Isaac Benet in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alejandro Fuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fulgura's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Fuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Benet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliberto Cloyo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Benet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Neil Boothey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isaac Benet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Guido Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Gauargi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alejandro Fuentes came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Fulgura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Fuentes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 45 minutes, Tomáš Svitko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulgura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomáš Svitko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Guido Piarres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tinglado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Piarres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Cloyo to make the kick off. Neil Boothey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Benet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Gabrio in the 58th minute of the match. Neil Boothey struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Isaac Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fulgura. With an all-out effort, Tinglado FC's Siro Gauargi threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Freddy Roano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Isaac Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Cloyo in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Fulgura's Tomáš Svitko made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Benet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alejandro Fuentes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Siro Gauargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Odon in the 71st minute. Maximo Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Benet having to interfere. Tomáš Svitko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
