David Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eulalio Laurentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Celso Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Colón de Santa Fe's zone, Matias Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Garin came out of the goal and Matias Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ezequiel Kusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Laurentzi succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Pujol FC's Ezequiel Kusko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celso Garin. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. Ezequiel Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Celso Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Maiorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Melquiades Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th play minute Eulalio Laurentzi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Quinten. 1-2. Pujol FC's David Quinten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Pujol FC from getting a goal against them. Pujol FC's Ezequiel Kusko got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pujol FC's Ezequiel Kusko got a free kick in the 68th minute. David Quinten made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Eulalio Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Pujol FC's goalkeeper David Quinten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Laurentzi. Eulalio Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but David Quinten made a huge save. In the 80th minute, Pujol FC's Segundo Berbiz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Segundo Berbiz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pujol FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Segundo Berbiz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 79th minute, one of Pujol FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pujol FC. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Eulalio Laurentzi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. David Quinten made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dario Perrando sent off a good shot on target. Eulalio Laurentzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but David Quinten firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Colón de Santa Fe booed when Pujol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Medardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Laurentzi got free with David Quinten in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 98th match minute, Pujol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Medardo to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Silvio Belmiro in the 99th minute of play was well struck, but David Quinten made a really good save at the right post. The Colón de Santa Fe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
