When Damaso Brun came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Talati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Brun couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardino Eladio in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Benvido saved Sauzal AFC from getting behind. Serafin Benvido didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Brun went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damaso Brun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sauzal AFC's goalkeeper Serafin Benvido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Eladio. Serafin Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Brun in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Sauzal AFC's Marcos Franco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Serafin Benvido stood somewhat misplaced when Damaso Brun came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 60 minute. Bernardino Eladio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Serafin Benvido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Sauzal AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Talati were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
