Ladislao Raebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute Igor Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Raebert having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Atarratze in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Raebert saved Estudiantes F. C. from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Estudiantes F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Atarratze came free, but Ladislao Raebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Raebert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Muno in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Ismael Cesaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madero Virtual FC the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Ismael Cesaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Estudiantes F. C.'s Elpidio Aritza got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Estudiantes F. C. booed when Madero Virtual FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Madero Virtual FC's zone, Igor Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Montrelle came out of the goal and Igor Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Montrelle having to interfere.

When Igor Tavio came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Estudiantes F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Tavio couldn't finish the play. If Edelmiro Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Montrelle came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes F. C.'s Florentino Figueroa. But to his dismay, Florentino Figueroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 71 minutes into the game, Madero Virtual FC's Edelmiro Atarratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislao Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Florentino Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Raebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Muno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes F. C.'s zone, Edelmiro Atarratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Raebert came out of the goal and Edelmiro Atarratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the game, Madero Virtual FC's Edelmiro Atarratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislao Raebert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Madero Virtual FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Madero Virtual FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
