The referee showed Domingo Sansone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12thth minute of the game Sixto Urdin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cazapán AFC's Pablo Rito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Linkin Park's goalkeeper Remigio Miliano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Vincent. Arnulfo Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Miliano having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Arnulfo Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cazapán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Miliano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Arnulfo Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Miliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Sixto Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linkin Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Rito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Vincent got free with Remigio Miliano in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes Linkin Park got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Hermon. Remigio Miliano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Cucao took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remigio Miliano. Remigio Miliano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Urdin to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ruperto Vincent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Remigio Miliano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paolo Txema kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cazapán AFC's zone, Sixto Urdin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Rito came out of the goal and Sixto Urdin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cazapán AFC's Elias Ruisko got a free kick in the 66th minute. Anselmo Farias's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Pablo Rito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 70 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Cucao notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Linkin Park's Remigio Miliano. Remigio Miliano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute of the match, Anselmo Farias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pablo Rito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 82 minutes of play, Linkin Park's Anselmo Farias made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Rito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cazapán AFC's Arnulfo Cucao got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Linkin Park's Fabricio Hermon got a free kick in the 89th minute. Arnulfo Cucao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Remigio Miliano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cazapán AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Linkin Park for a fine match.
