After having played for 3 minutes, Marcial Claude managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the shield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Claude was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Eduino, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcial Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Lertxun having to interfere. After a rather tough play, the shield's Raimundo Beltran got a free kick in the 13th minute. Bartolo Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Diego Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Lertxun having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Clan FC's Bartolo Peio got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Javier Eduino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Clan FC's Bernardo Lertxun didn't even have to move. Isaias Palben lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 36 minutes into the game, one of Clan FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guaberto Gomesano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Lertxun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Bernardo Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Gomesano in the 46th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Bartolo Peio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clan FC and the the shield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bartolo Peio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Bernardo Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Haitz made a kick off. Guaberto Gomesano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Clan FC's Aureliano Abeijon got a free kick in the 54th minute. Miguel Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Clan FC's Bernardo Lertxun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Clan FC from getting a goal against them. Bernardo Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guaberto Gomesano came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the the shield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Gomesano couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonas Manilan during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Clan FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Manilan. Clan FC's Bernardo Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Claude in the 90th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Honorio Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Haitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 95 played minutes the shield got a freekick which was hit by Diego Calvino. Julio Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
